The St. Louis Riverfront: What’s the Attraction?
In 2005 Mayor Slay asked the Danforth Foundation for bold plans to transform the St. Louis Riverfront. Danforth explored several options and decided that nothing could be done without changes to the Arch grounds. Recently the National Park Service announced that it was open to considering that possiblity. What follows are ideas for the St. Louis riverfront that CNR solicited from architects and planners who have thought deeply about the subject.
